Unlike previous generations, the current fifth-generation Audi S4
is only available as a sedan. The convertible version has been replaced
by the S5 Cabriolet. The S4 is powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter V6
that produces 333 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. A standard
six-speed manual or optional seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual (S
tronic) sends power to Audi's 40/60 rear-biased Quattro all-wheel-drive
system.Inside, you'll find (in true Audi tradition) one of the finest
cabins in the sport sedan class. The overall design is demure but
classy, and although the center console is rather button-happy, Audi's
updated MMI electronics interface is now much friendlier to use than
before. The seats are supremely comfortable in the front, offering
plenty of support through corners and over distances. Like the A4, the S4
offers a reasonably large backseat should your sport sedan be called on
for family duty.The S4 comes with an ample list of standard luxury
features like xenon headlights, tri-zone climate control and
leather/faux-suede upholstery. Upgrades include bigger wheels,
keyless/ignition entry, navigation, a premium Bang & Olufsen stereo
and Audi's Drive Select adaptive vehicle settings.The S4
shines thanks to its strong supercharged V6, sharp handling and a
forgiving nature made possible by Quattro and its optional sports rear
differential. Even driven aggressively, the S4 imparts confidence to the
driver. Grip is tenacious and the chassis is communicative. Even so,
ride comfort is commendable and cabin noise is pleasantly hushed.

Since the year 1998, Audi
has produced a sports car known as the TT in the Hungarian town of
Gyor. The Audi TT was first unveiled in the year 1995 at the Frankfurt
Motor Show as a concept vehicle, and development of the car began mid
1994 with Audi's main design centre at California. The design of the
Audi TT has been credited to Freeman Thomas and J Mays, both of whom
work for the design studio of Volkswagen in California. The award
winning interior is the brain child of Martin Smith.It is commonly
believed that the TT
of the car’s title stands for Twin Turbo. This, in fact, is not true.
The car is named after the NSU TT, which is a small rear Configuration
car that had a formidable racing pedigree in the 1960s. That car was
based in turn on the NSU Prinz. It should be noted that the Audi TTdoes
not share many of the same design principles as these cars.The styling
of the Audi TT was widely regarded as a watershed moment in the design
of automobiles. Upon its introduction as a concept car in the mid-90s
and its production three years later, the Audi TT was acclaimed as a
revolutionary, innovative, bold automobile. It still is, to this day.

With demand strong for the newly launched
Audi A1, and fuel-economy a pressing issue on the wallets of most
consumers, the company stands in the deep stages of development on an Audi A2 successor, after axing the car back in 2005.“A new A2
is being discussed internally and a number of concepts are being looked
at,” an insider told Autocar. “I wouldn’t be surprised if it was shown
first as a concept. “I’m sure that the new car will be in a similar
mould of the old model: futuristic, low volume and using
state-of-the-art technology,” the source added. “It will be an
unashamedly hi-tech Audi.”The
original A2 was a fuel-economy fox, with its all aluminum body weighing

Audi expands its offer with new special series, the Audi A1 Admired is
proposed bodywork in 3 and 5-door Sportbackwith 1.2 TFSI engine or 1.6

Although it was originally expected to make its premiere at the 2011 Shanghai Motor Show, the Audi Q3
has been officially unveiled a couple weeks early. The new crossover
vehicle features a steeply sloping rear hatch that provides 16.24 cubic
feet of storage capacity with the seats in place (storage space
increases to 48.2 cubic feet with the seats folded down), adaptive light
technology, electronic parking assistance, and Audi’s hard drive-based
MMI infotainment and navigation system. In addition to the highfalutin
luxury fixings and trims, the Q3
also features some seriously impressive goods underneath the hood, with
the option of choosing between two gasoline and one diesel engine (all
with direct injection) that boast anywhere from 140 to 211 horsepower.
Expected to arrive on the European market around June, the 2012 Audi Q3 is set at a base price of €29,900 (approximately $43,000 USD).
